Definitely NOT a 4E-Xtra Wide as your width description states! Had to purchase boot stretchers and 2 bottles of stretching spray. Still trying to widen them & will follow in a few days! They are nice leather look great. Bought for a southwest wedding so I opted to keep them and try the stretching routine because I need them very soon!

I like the way these shoes look. Very nice. That being said... they seem a little dangerous too. The bottom (outside) of the sole is raised a bit, from the center of the shoe to about 1/2"- 3/4" which means the shoes are not stable. I have to decide whether or not to keep them as they were very wobbly. I would think someone would have broken or twisted their angle by now. If your legs are not accustomed to this kind of sole, you very well may roll out. See the photo... if this does not make sense... but it is like walking on a two by four. The design makes it easy to rollout. Esp if you pronate. I have seen other shoes like this and avoid them, but these are so nice, I will see a cobbler to see if I can get something to stabilize the shoe. I am older now and my legs are no longer like an athletes... and I believe these shoes are dangerous for me. A few drinks and a twisted ankle is probabal unless I modify and extend the rubber par of the sole to the edges of the shoe. The regular width is not wide enough for me... but they are not offering wide 12's. If I keep them, they should stretch out a little as they have in the past. They look fantastic though.

I ordered my standard size 10D and was pleasantly surprised these boots were a perfect fit.

My dad has wide feet. Very happy with these boots! They fit perfect we got 4e. He's so happy he's never been able to find boots that fit

These are great out of the box boots. They were a little narrow in the foot area I used the baseball method to stretch them out a little. I get lots of compliments on them. “ Zappos” you need to do a video about these.

I've got a wide, almost flat foot. I figured I'd be sending these back for a half size larger, or just never be able to wear boots, but they fit perfectly with thinner socks. I love the zipper side. They look great. I'll be wearing these at work on court days.

They looked good but he said the boots were too tight around the toes.

I got these for my son, and he absolutely loves them! He has been wearing them every day, walking distances.

I'm pretty sure the size and width were correct. I haven't worn shoes/boots in twenty years and I know by wearing that I will stretch them out. If they are good quality, then this will happen. Fast shipping.

The boot fit great,. The material and construction of the boot was good. I have to have 4x wide shoes and after fusing my ankle have not been able to find or wear a boot; so it was nice to find these boot and have the dressy enough to wear on many occasions.

My husband loved these boots! They’re stylish and comfortable but unfortunately he needs one half size smaller and those are not available at this time. We’re hoping they come back in stock soon!

The fit is perfect, great style, and the boot is well made. It’s hard to find a wide width that is stylish and made well, we were very pleased with our purchase and how easy it was to shop with your company and receive our Order in a timely fashion. We will definitely shop Zappos in the future.

Boots are easy to put on, comfortable, and look great. You don't hardly notice the zipper on the side.

I bought two pairs of these nine and 9 1/2 and each was an EEEE width. Normally, I take a 9 1/2 or 10. However, I watched a video on the Zappos site that recommended getting a half size smaller than your usual size. That was good advice, as a nine’s fit lengthwise. However, my feet are as flat as a billiard table. And even the EEEE width was a bit too narrow in the toe box. This was resolved using a shoe stretcher and shoe stretcher spray. I had to stretch the boots Quite a few times to get them to where they are comfortable enough to wear. Regular wear and tear will do the rest.

Heel cup too large. Ended up with a full size smaller than normal and heel still slipped.

Size was o.k. As to length, but were too wide for a D width
